Song content to be themed to respect for human life at any age or stage from conception to natural death (includes childhood, adoption, marriage, fatherhood, motherhood, family, old age whatever you feel strongly about).
- There are two Categories:
Open: No age limit; no residential restriction.
First Prize: $1,500 plus 3-day ticket to 2012 "Parachute" Festival.
Second Prize: $1,000; Third Prize: $500.
College and Tertiary Students, and Under 21 years of age:
First Prize: $1,000 plus 3-day ticket to 2012 "Parachute" Festival.
Second Prize: $500; Third Prize: $250.
- Entry Fee: $25 per song.

Entrants must submit lyrics (words) with a recording on CD which will be judged for inclusion or elimination as finalists.

Entries must be original, commercially unreleased compositions.
- Any established style acceptable; must be presented tastefully.
- Worship Songs acceptable, i.e. songs of worship, praise, thanksgiving or petition to God, provided they relate to some human situation or respect for human life.
Finals will be held in Auckland on stage, with live audience, at a venue to be decided,
on Saturday evening, December 3rd, 2011. Entries with entry fee must be received by October 29th.
